Step 1Reality check! Put down those awful magazines that churn out
photo-shopped images of perfect skin, massive cleavage
and bony bodies
These magazines are for entertainment only, not to serve
as a realistic standard for how a woman should look
If these magazines are entertaining your insecurities
please stop buying them
Step 2God Makes Good. You created your body with God
because you knew you needed a certain type
of body to assist you with your life goals
For example, if you've had a challenging life
you may have chosen a bigger body to help you ground and protect
If you've chosen a life path where it serves to have
a smaller frame, so it is, such as a healer or dancer
who has to use their body as a tool for their work
Step 3Recognize that your body is a gift you helped to create
and it will support your life purpose
Women who are born six feet tall with exotic features
chose to have an option to model when they came
to earth because it was part of their life purpose
All of us have unique talents and gifts
and our unique body is made to help us express and achieve them
Step 4Love yourself no matter what. Who cares if you've gained
some weight? That just means you've felt stressed
Weight comes and goes. Love is forever
Step 5Stop comparing. Don't compare yourself to someone who is younger than you
Or less stressed. Or more motivated. Or thinner
Or bigger. Or has different eyes or lips, etc
Don't compare yourself to actresses who have trainers
and in-home gyms and chefs and plenty of time
to work out because their body dictates their career choices
Consider yourself lucky! You don't get paid based
on how you look. You are free to just be you
and love all that is you, regardless of what anyone else thinks
That is FREEDOM
Step 6Love ALL that is you, including those parts you wish you could change
Every aspect of you serves a purpose
Every part of you is perfect and beautiful
no matter what your ego says
Step 7God doesn't clone. Your supposed "imperfections" are what
makes you an individual. All of your little unique features from
moles and birthmarks to crooked toes are
what make you special and unique
There is only one you
Step 8Don't judge yourself. Your body is always changing
scars are evidence that our lives have been shifting and evolving
we've been LIVING! If you have an off day with your diet
or you're not exercising as much as you'd like
acknowledge you're in a transition period
Judging doesn't motivate
Accepting and loving anyway does
Step 9If you truly feel that a part of your body is
holding your spirit back from feeling at home
in your body
because your spirit is what counts most
then research surgery if you truly believe
it is the right thing for you
Step 10But please, don't look to surgery to raise your self-esteem
or change who you are or make you
into something you are not
Surgery can only help you see the beauty
that was always there
If you've never seen that beauty, surgery won't help you
You'll just end up finding something else
about yourself that you don't like
because the truth is you don't like your inner self
